1.  Ball-Yard              Softball                Training
At Red River Ball Yard, we teach the West Coast Style System of fastpitch softball pitching.  This style is similar to what you see many of the
top college pitchers use.

The West Coast System is basically pitching from a slight angle, which keeps pressure off the shoulder muscles and allows the pitcher to deliver 5 to 7 pitches with much more control and movement.  That is why the West Coast or Open Angle System is being used more each day by  pitchers throughout the fastpitch community.

As a result of being able to spot the ball with great accuracy and with the large number of pitches available, pitchers who train at the Ball Yard are among the best in the North Texas, Metroplex and Southern Oklahoma areas.

Pitchers come to the Ball Yard from Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana and as far as Mississippi to train in the West Coast System of pitching.

Over 75 pitchers now train at the Ball Yard.   We teach top level pitchers, and we also have a beginner pitching program at reduced prices to get young pitchers started.

At Red River Ball Yard, we also teach all phases of softball hitting.  We teach basic hitting techniques, along with proper form and execution in bunting, slapping, chopping and push bunting -- including all skills in the Left Side Speed/Slap Game.

We also teach the Catcher's Position, including the knee drop as well as the step through throwing methods -- and all phases of fielding, throwing, baserunning, etc. involved in the game of softball.

The Ball Yard still has a few openings, so if you are interested in pitching, hitting or catchers position lessons, call us at 903 892-0009 or 903 870-0733 or  email us at:   rexsports@aol.com
